Lesson's that I've learned in Educational Technology 2 Subject

First and foremost I would like to say
"THANK YOU TO MY INSTRUCTOR MRS. JACQUELINE PARAISO"
for helping us to know what is HTML all about, I would like to extent my gratitude to Ma'am because she's an effective teacher she can manage the classroom setting whenever her students are too noisy. Anyways, The things that I've been experiencing during in our Ed.Tech class is that first; how to create an account in blog, second; on how to make an HTML and links these things that I've learned in Ed. Tech class are very useful to my "Student teaching" for this coming second semester in my Practice Teaching. The moment I learned about HTML it was kinda' cute that technology was being used in the presentation. I was amazed and fascinated about HTML now that I've learned about the used in HTML I will treasure it because teaching is a lucrative profession. Needed, Ma'am Paraiso did a job well done to her profession also to encourage her students to do this, and avoid that one.... Once again, Thank you Ma'am for the knowledge that you've shared to us "BSED-TLE4W1" it was a great journey being with you as our Instructor in  Educational Technology 2 .... :)

My Insights about One Classroom Policy

As a future teacher, I would suggest the policy of "3 R's" in classroom. That "3 R's " are composes of the following:
1. reading
2. writing
3. rythmetic

with this "3R's"  reading, writing, and rythmetic the student and the teacher it goes beyond the didactic process of lessons to be learned and excuses to be accomplished, but encompasses a lot more in the formation of the students. It provides the students with the capacity of critical thinking, social awareness, and commitment to empowerment for social action. Moreover, this "3R's" it starts with envisioning the responsible, free, active student as the product and look at the curriculum as defining comprehensive process that molds the youth into this kind of person.

I chose to suggest  this policy serve as what I have learned in my Curriculum Development Subject because for this 1st Semester I am enrolled to this Curriculum Development Subject. It helps me to motivate myself and go beyond the learning structure of the domains.

My Insights about Student-Teacher Relationship

When we talk about Student-teacher relationship this is compose of two people first is the teacher and second is the student. There should be a collaboration with the teacher and a student in a classroom because collaboration is the basic need of a students with this they communicate to each other. Teacher act as the facilitator of the classroom. Effective teachers use an array of teaching strategies because there is no single universal approach that suits all situations. It should go beyond the classroom and include the learning processes derived from peer sharing and the students look forward to every school day and where much student's formations occur. It is really important to have a student- teacher relationship because it direct and influence from the real world experiences of students.

My Insights about Unruly behavior

In a classroom setting I cannot assume that all of my students are good and kind because students came from different diverse in life. As a facilitator, I will reprimand my students to behave during classes hours in fact I enrolled my self to Education Course in Secondary Level to teach high school students. If one of my students would do stupid things while I discussing the lesson Of course! I will call his/her attention I will asked his/her that "hey, children is there anything wrong? or how's your day? is there any commotion that happened at your home?" What else could I helped for you my children?

In this scenario  I can render my services towards him/her. Becoming a teacher is not an easy task because teachers are dealing with different kind of behavior of a student. To be able to reprimand this kind of behavior as a teacher I must do a parent-teacher collaboration with this, I can manage how to be good facilitator in coping up with their children.

My  Insights About Cheating

As a future teacher, to maximized the case of cheating is that I need to have a strategy  in teaching wherein students would listen to me during discussions and if I will give a quiz to them they would not cheat during quizzes and examinations. Nowadays, there are some students are cheating during quizzes they don't no what would be the outcomes if they keep on doing that. Eventually, cheating is not new to us but to resolved this case as a teacher I need to collaborate to my student first. In that way I and my students are now collaborating I will asked them what are their strengths and weaknesses in life by doing this collaboration to my students I can know their approach in learning. Going back to the topic "cheating" there are advantages and disadvantages on it. The advantages would be you passed the exam but the question is, Did you do it sincerely and wholeheartedly? just to passed the exam? or did you used a  "sheet of paper to have a cheating style" and the disadvantage would be it is bad to cheat during quizzes and examinations because this would lead you to harmful expelled in the school. So, which are you belong? do good and avoid "cheating" ... The decision is your's :)
My Insights About Absenteeism

In my own opinion, absenteeism it really affects to those students who keep on doing absences in classes. It is a bad routine that students will make absences without valid reasons. Moreover, students who are fun of making absences can cause large difficulty in coping up to the lessons as well as reaching high grades. As a future teacher to deal with this situation, I will reprimand my students to avoid making absences in attending classes. As a teacher I will encourage my students to go to school because in schooling there are many things to learn. One of those is showing respect to elders, love, honor, and peace. In that way students can maximized their absences because they will know the true value and  essential of education.

The Effect of K+12 Program

Being a student of the Education Course I am happy with the New Curriculum being Implemented by the Ched. With this, TLE Teachers are more  capable enough to handle with the k+12 Program. Nowadays, TLE Majors is in demand in our society that is why I choose to took the course BSEd- Major in Technology Livelihood Education. As a Future Teacher I could say that the K+12 Program aims to uplift the quality of education in the Philippines in order for graduates to be easily employed. The program also aims to meet the standards required professional who worked abroad. The K to 12 Program covers Kindergarten and 12 years of basic education six years of primary education, four years of Junior High School, and two years of Senior High School  to provide sufficient time for mastery of concepts and skills, develop lifelong learners, and prepare graduates for tertiary education, middle-level skills development, employment, and entrepreneurship.

Life as a Future Teacher I should motivate myself this 4 aspect in my teaching strategy first, is to be a good listener ,

second- patience, third - effective communication to my students and lastly be a role model to my students.

3. Lesson Proper
Introduction
DID YOU KNOW THAT ... THE REQUIREMENTS FOR PLANTS TO GROW HEALTHY ARE:
temperature, water, light, and plant nutrients
Topic: PLANT REQUIREMENTS
4. Techniques for demonstration/ performance
Discussion
TEMPERATURE
Heat generally accelerates metabolic processes particularly photosynthesis and respiration .
WATER
It is required in photosynthesis.
It is needed for cell expansion and growth-water imbibition of seeds prior to germination.
Without adequate water leaves and herbaceous plants become flaccid and wilt.
It carries nutrients throughout the plant.
Evaporation of water cools the plant in hot water.
LIGHT
The three aspects of light that affect plant growth re quality, quantity, and duration.
Plants use red and blue light for photosynthesis. These colors and the far-read end of the spectrum also affect plannt growth, seed germination, flowering and other processes. Good rates of photosynthesis usually require light intensity equivalent to sunlight.
NUTRIENTS
Plants need 17 elements for normal growth.
Carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen are found in air and water.Nitrogen, potassium, magnesium, calcuim, phosphorous, and sulfur are found in the soil.
These six elements are used to relatively large amounts by the plant and are called MACRONUTRIENTS.
The eight other elements that are used in much smaller amounts and are called MICRONUTRIENTS , or TRACE ELEMENTS such as iron, zinc, molybdenum, manganese, boron, copper, cobalt, and chlorine.
5. Post-test and answer key
Directions: Supply the functions of the following:
MICRONUTRIENTS
1. Boron(B)
2.Copper (Cu)
3. Chloride (Cl)
FUNCTIONS
BORON(B) - helps in the use of nutrients and regulates other nutrients. Aids production of sugar and carbohydrates.
COPPER(Cu)- Important for reproductive growth aids in root metabolism and helps in the utization of proteins.
CHLORIDE(Cl)- aids plant metabolism

DEFICIENCIES/ EXCESS SYMPTOMS
BORON(B) - Premature shedding witches brooms forms
COPPER(Cu) - Stunted growth leaves are limp, curl or drop. Seed stalks are limp and bend over Carotene and other pigments reduced
CHLORIDE(Cl)- Wilting of leaves, especially at leaf margins.
SOURCES
BORON(B)- Organic matter compounds containing borax or borate
COPPER(Cu)- Compounds containing copper, cupric or cuprous
CHLORIDE(Cl) - Soil

The Effect of Mother Tongue as Medium of Communication

Mother tongue. In the context of formal education, the term mother tongue is normally used to refer
to the language a child learned first and usually speaks best. In a very high percentage of cases, the ―first
language a child learns and the ―language a child speaks best‖ are one and the same. One can, of course,
uncover sociolinguistic settings in which these two are not the same. Such cases often involve complex
diglossia due to migration or resettlement.

In the age of globalization, people need to use an international auxiliary language along with their mother tongue to improve communication and foster unity among nations. In India, English is the preferred ‘global’ language and it plays an important role as a ‘library language’ in higher education. Parents and children perceive English as a ‘language of opportunity’ and hanker after English medium education.
Whereas the role of English in employability, international mobility, and in accessing information cannot be denied, its overall role in development is being questioned. There is evidence to show that the widespread craze for learning English and adopting the so-called western life style is stifling local cultures and languages. Furthermore, students face difficulties in studies because they have to learn the subject content through a language they do not know well.
Conversely, countries like China, where English is not much used by the common man, have set examples of higher standards in all fields of human endeavour while preserving their culture, language and identity. Thus, it seems that a bilingual or a multilingual approach might be more effective.
The Impact of technology as Educational Learning Tool

Even though computers are seen to be a positive tool to have in the classroom, there are
obviously some disadvantages that need stating too, one being that if they are used in schools,
and all children come to school with different backgrounds, and various amounts of computer
experience, then how can you cater for that as a teacher?

Obviously whatever you teach your students, there are always going to be a number of abilities
across the classroom, no matter what the subject area is being taught. Allowing students to
develop at their own rate is crucial to teaching. Some students will always be high achievers in
many subjects, whether they have had past experiences or not in the lesson. Some learners will
always find school and education a challenge, no matter how much time you give them, so
understanding this is important to consider, when allowing students time on the computer.
Computer technology also offers opportunities for self-directed, personalized learning
projects that can tailor the curriculum to student interests and engagement, and allow
teachers to facilitate active student learning rather than merely the rote transfer of
information.

It is important to consider that technology is becoming more and more vital in being able to
interact with it and that it is an essential tool within education and the society. Many jobs now
require that you are computer literate. A website that was based on whether technology has an
impact on education, discussed that:
Today, computer education is a part of school and college curricula. Considering the
wide range of applications of the computer technology, it is necessary for each one of
us to befriend computers. Considering the advantages of the Internet technology, it is
important for each of us to gain a basic knowledge of Internet access and connectivity.
We live in a technology-age and hence, it is extremely important for us to introduce
ourselves to the new inventions and discoveries that have made a difference to our daily
life.
